The Goodbrand Collective

General Terms and Conditions of Business

Our aim

To provide our clients with a personal service to assist with implementing positive changes into their business.

Our Service Standards

  • Put your interests first when representing you
  • Be polite and professional in our dealings with you
  • Find out from the start what you are hoping to achieve, and to make sure that your expectations are realistic and achievable.
  • Explain in advance what the costs are likely to be and to keep you informed of the costs throughout
  • Tell you about any developments and update you on progress as work proceeds
  • Keep information that you give us confidential
  • In short, provide a level of service that you would feel confident to recommend to your family and friends.

Our Hours of Business

The normal hours of working will be between 9am and 6pm on weekdays only. Extended hours of service are available with the “On Tap Retainer”

Payment arrangements

For training and strategy sessions a 25% deposit is required to secure your booking at the time of making the booking. The balance is due seven days prior to the booked course or meeting.

Payment is due to us prior to commencement of the brief/scope of work or scheduled meetings.  It is important that payment is made prior to the start date as hours have been blocked out ahead of time.  If payment has not been received within 7 days of the session date, we will contact you regarding your session.

The payment type will be provided on the invoice.  We do accept payment through GoCardless as well as BACS for workshops, webinars, and courses.

Payment of expenses will be agreed upon as required for the brief.  We are unable to pay expenses on your behalf without having paid for them first from you.

Intellectual Property

All content that is shared as part of 1:1, group presentations, downloads and links is the property of The Goodbrand Collective and must not be shared and duplicated without written consent from The Goodbrand Collective.

Prices & Packages

Pricing and packages are reviewed twice a year and will be subject to change from the published pricing to new contracts. Pre-agreed pricing and terms will be honoured and reviewed inline with pricing changes.

Pricing within this contract is valid for 30 days from receipt of this contract or any quote. Contracts that have been signed and returned via email to The Goodbrand Collective will have prices honoured for up to 3 months and after that, may be subject to change – we’ll always discuss this first if this is the case.

Guarantees

Throughout our sessions, you’ll learn about the tools to help you be as successful as possible with your Social Media Marketing Strategy. Sadly, there is no magic formula or guarantee.  You’ll learn the why and how. It is up to you to make this happen, do the work, pivot and change, to keep evolving (we can help with that).

Communication

We will aim to communicate with you by such method as you may request. Urgent requests can be submitted via Whatsapp and email.

We need you to give us clear and prompt instructions.  If we request information from you, we would ask you to provide it promptly.

We agree never to share information relating to your business with any third party without your prior consent.

The Data Protection Act

We use the information you provide to carry out the brief provided by the client.  Our use of that information is subject to instructions, the Data Protection Act 1998 and our duty of confidentiality & GDPR.

Review period

For clients choosing the Mentor or Coach package, a review call/meeting will be held with the client at the end of each month to update on actions completed and to agree on the next steps for the month ahead. This time will be added to your last session in the month and billed within the agreed package in advance on your monthly invoice.

Additional resource

From time to time additional resources may be required to complete the brief.  Notification of these changes will be provided to the client in advance.

Termination

You or we may terminate our engagement in writing by giving a one-month notice period (individual contract terms stand and take prescedent over these standard terms).  The correspondence can be completed via email and letter; this will not be accepted via social media, phone message or verbally.

All documents and information provided by you will be returned to you within 30 working days of receipt of the notice if all outstanding fees have been paid.

Cancellations

For online workshops, webinars and courses we require 7 days cancellation notice. If you have already been supplied with the content or link to the online content then refunds are not available.

Cancellations for in-person or online meetings will require 7 days’ notice and any expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the client and billed directly under “expenses”. Payment will be required on or before the due date, as noted on the invoice. If you need to cancel your planned session within 7 days or more notice then we can choose a new date and time at no cost. If the notice is between three and 6 days then there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the total cost of that session or course.  Cancellations with less than three days notice will incur the full cost of the session or course.

Complaints Procedure

We want you to be entirely satisfied with the services provided to you.  If, however, you are not a complaint can be raised informally or formally.

An informal complaint can be made by telephone, or by speaking, face to face or in writing to myself.  If the matter is not resolved at this stage, and you have not already issued a complaint in writing, you should do so.  Please include specific details so that the matter can be thoroughly investigated.

A formal complaint can be made in writing; an acknowledgement will be sent to you within 5 working days.

Within 5 working days from receipt of your written complaint, you will receive in writing a summary of our understanding of your complaint.

Before any work can be undertaken on your behalf, you are required to confirm acceptance of these terms of engagement by signing and returning the original of this letter to us at the address provided.  Please retain a copy for your own records.

I confirm I have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions set out above.  (I confirm that I have the authority to act on behalf of the company).
